I'm currently working on a set of costumes based on these characters:

Here are some sketches done at the end of October, for your viewing pleasure. I will apologize for my long absence, but I have been sewing my fingers down to the bone, quite literally. In the next couple of weeks I will be posting updates of my progress on 17 costumes for the Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society's competition production of Where the Wild Things are.

Enjoy!

Wild About Sendak

Oh I am WAY too excited about this...

The Maurice Sendak exhibit at the Rosenbach Museum (20th and Delancey) ends May 3rd, so RUN over there to check it out if you get a chance!

If you happen to miss it, the museum also has a number of William Blake's paintings and manuscripts, as well as some of James Joyce's work and literally a library FULL of first editions. One of my favorite spots in the city.
